Privacy Policy

Who we are

Swertehon provides a lending ledger application used by lenders in the Philippines.

This notice describes how the Swertehon service processes data when you use the app.

Roles under the Data Privacy Act

You (the lender) decide what borrower data to enter and why. You are the personal information controller for that data.

Swertehon processes data on your instructions to operate the ledger—for example, storing borrower profiles, loan schedules, payment logs, and optional ID files you upload.

Data we process

Borrower profile fields you enter: name, phone, address, notes, optional photo, optional maps link.

Loan and payment ledger data: principals, schedules, collections, capital movements, and reports derived from your entries.

Optional borrower ID images or PDFs, only if you upload them and complete the lender attestation.

We do not require ID upload to use the ledger.

Optional ID uploads

Government ID copies are sensitive personal information. Upload is optional.

Before saving an ID, you must confirm you are allowed to store it. Swertehon logs the attestation time and privacy notice version but does not verify consent between you and the borrower.

ID files are not included in Excel exports.

Security and retention

In the current development build, data may be stored in your browser session. Production releases will use secured cloud storage with access limited to your account.

You may remove an ID file from a borrower profile at any time. Retention of other borrower data is your responsibility as the controller.

Your responsibilities

Provide borrowers with any notice or consent required by law before you collect their data.

Use only data adequate for your lending records. Do not upload data you cannot lawfully store.
